Wulerrp Secondary College
Located in one of Victoria’s fastest-growing suburbs, Wulerrp Secondary College recently opened its doors to secondary students and the wider Clyde North community. Designed by K2LD Architects and delivered by Hutchinson Builders, this fresh, modern campus opened in July 2025 and serves as a future-ready learning environment for the growing population.
Wulerrp, meaning "Teatree" in the Bunurong language, was chosen as the school’s name following community and Traditional Owner group consultation. It reflects the school’s commitment to embedding cultural identity, respect, and connection to Country into every aspect of the learning journey.
This project formed part of a major school-building initiative driven by the Victorian School Building Authority, and for BACH Commercial, it represented a valuable opportunity to contribute to shaping Victoria’s educational future.
Our scope included:
• Full-wall acoustic panelling in Opera, Highland, and Muralla.
• L15 porcelain enamel whiteboards, wall-mounted and integrated into learning zones.
• Custom ceiling baffles to control noise and create visual interest in shared spaces.
A standout feature was the extensive use of acoustic panels in the school’s gymnasium and basketball courts. These heavy-duty treatments spanned both walls and ceilings, delivering essential sound insulation, impact protection, and a sleek, contemporary finish.
We also installed acoustic panelling and study nooks throughout collaborative areas, reinforcing BACH’s commitment to future-proof, student-centred design
