Caulfield Grammar School’s new Senior School Teaching and Learning Building was designed as a holistic, environmentally sustainable facility that supports flexibility, collaboration, and wellbeing. Completed across five levels, the building features 28 classrooms, eight science laboratories, a design and technology space, a function room, and a range of informal learning hubs and breakout areas.

BACH Commercial was engaged to supply and install whiteboards, pinboards, and acoustic treatments throughout classrooms, learning hubs, and shared spaces.

Acoustic panelling was applied to façade linings, while pinboard acoustic wall panels in both dark and light grey tones provided functional and durable surfaces. Dark grey ceiling panels were also installed to reduce reverberation and improve sound quality across large learning spaces. We also installed 18 multi-panelled WriteWall® systems and 21 premium L15 vitreous porcelain enamel whiteboards. These surfaces deliver exceptional durability and usability, with WriteWall® providing floor-to-ceiling writable walls that encourage collaboration and creativity.

Guided by the ‘Mind for Life’ strategy, the completed Senior School Teaching and Learning Building sets a benchmark in contemporary educational design, combining sustainable principles with modern teaching facilities. BACH Commercial’s whiteboards, pinboards, and acoustic treatments play a central role in creating learning spaces that are flexible, interactive, and acoustically balanced.
