Located in Tarneit, Thomas Carr College recently opened a new two-level Senior and STEM Building. Featuring 21 classrooms, a careers hub, a senior study venue, and a purpose-built STEM centre, the facility was designed to support senior students. Construction of the new building was completed in 2024 in partnership with CICG and ClarkeHopkinsClarke.

BACH Commercial was engaged to supply and install a complete package of acoustic wall panels, ceiling baffles, and WriteWall® whiteboards throughout the facility. Acoustic wall panels in warm cream tones were installed to provide pinboard functionality while improving sound clarity. Overhead, deep red and warm white acoustic ceiling baffles were fitted to reduce reverberation and enhance comfort in shared spaces. Classrooms were equipped with WriteWall® Premium Porcelain Enamel whiteboards in a range of sizes, offering a low-gloss, projectable surface finish.

BACH Commercial played a central role in creating an environment that enhances focus, supports creativity, and fosters productivity. The colour palette was carefully chosen to support learning outcomes. Red was used as a stimulating tone to boost alertness, capture attention, and promote creativity, while cream tones provided a calming balance, reducing stress and creating comfortable learning environments. Together, the acoustic and teaching solutions delivered by BACH Commercial transformed the Senior and STEM Building into a modern, functional, and inspiring learning hub.
