Located in Melbourne’s west, Islamic College of Melbourne (ICOM) is a leading primary and secondary school recognised for strong academic outcomes and a nurturing Islamic environment.

As part of their ongoing investment in the campus, a new Admin and Wellness Precinct was built to support operational efficiency and student wellbeing. Designed by PMDL – McGlashan Everist and constructed by Haddarco, the precinct required carefully considered interior solutions that balanced performance, durability, and aesthetics.

BACH Commercial was contracted to supply and install bespoke acoustic and pinboard solutions throughout the facility. Our scope included the installation of suspended Acoustic Ceiling Baffles in high-traffic areas to reduce reverberation and ambient noise, finished in dark grey to provide both acoustic performance and architectural interest.

In addition, wall-mounted acoustic pinboards were installed in a combination of navy and grey colourways, offering effective sound absorption while also functioning as practical pinnable surfaces.

The completed project demonstrates our expertise in delivering considered acoustic solutions within educational environments.
