Located in Clyde North, St Peter’s College’s new VCE Centre is a double-storey facility envisioned to support senior students through Years 11 and 12. Delivered by 2Construct and designed by Hayball Architects, the centre brings together multipurpose classrooms, collaborative study zones, quiet rooms, staff areas, amenities and storage within a contemporary learning environment.

BACH Commercial supplied and installed a package of whiteboards and acoustic solutions throughout the facility. Our WriteWall® floor-to-ceiling whiteboards were installed in the communal senior study space, wrapping around a corner with white trims to create the appearance of one continuous surface. Large L15 Standard Whiteboards were installed across classrooms on both levels, typically positioned on either side of central display screens to maximise teaching flexibility. Complementing these were Autex Savoye, Herald and Empire acoustic panels, along with Groove panels, installed across multipurpose classrooms, breakout areas, quiet rooms and collaboration zones. A standout component of the scope included adapting Groove wall panels into ceiling treatments beneath the staircase, extending acoustic performance beyond the walls.

The completed VCE Centre offers St. Peter’s students a senior learning environment where functionality and design intent align. Our WriteWall® whiteboards create a bold collaborative focal point, enhanced by deep grey Groove panels that add texture and contrast. In classrooms, dual L15 whiteboards support modern teaching methods while maintaining durability for high-use spaces. The acoustic treatments enhance comfort, minimise reverberation and bring cohesion to the interior palette, reinforcing the layered grey tones specified throughout the design.
