Mindalk Primary School
Mindalk Primary School, located in Truganina, is set to open in early 2026 to support the growing population and increasing enrolment demand in Melbourne’s west. Designed by Brand Architects and delivered by Built Environs, the new school will provide a colourful and inclusive learning environment for local students. The school’s name, Mindalk, meaning “wombat” in the Bunurong Boonwurrung language, was chosen in consultation with the local community and Traditional Owner groups.
BACH Commercialwas engaged to design, supply, and install a complete package of whiteboards, pinboards, and acoustic treatments that aligned with both the architectural vision and the school’s educational purpose.
Our team delivered L15 Premium Porcelain Whiteboards and WriteWall® whiteboards, specified in both Ultra Gloss and Low Gloss finishes. The low-gloss boards offer excellent projection capability for interactive teaching, while the ultra-gloss versions provide a smooth, durable writing surface ideal for everyday classroom use.
We also supplied and installed a range of acoustic solutions to optimise acoustic performance and visual appeal, with many wall designs featuring custom V-groove cut-outs to add depth and design interest. Custom-printed panels showcasing Aboriginal artworks were also integrated throughout key spaces, celebrating the cultural identity embedded in the school’s design.
From Prep classrooms to specialist learning hubs, BACH’s installations at Mindalk Primary School aim to support collaborative learning, community connection, and cultural inclusion.
