March 2021 marked the beginning of a major project at Chisholm Institute, with a focus on creating learning spaces that were both visually striking and acoustically functional. In collaboration with arete Australia, BACH Commercial was engaged to supply and install the pinboards and acoustic treatments required to support the Institute’s bold and colourful vision.

The refurbishment aimed to create modern, functional spaces for students and staff, including study nooks, common areas, consulting rooms, and offices. BACH Commercial’s scope of work included the supply and installation of acoustic ceiling baffles and wall panels in a mix of black, white, and blue tones. These elements provided both effective sound absorption and a strong visual impact that complemented the building’s modern aesthetic.

To further enhance the design, large pinboards with angular colour contrasts were installed throughout hallways and common areas. In study nooks and shared spaces, pinboards wrapped across and around the walls, creating vibrant zones for collaboration and student engagement.

Completed in June 2021, the refurbished Building F now provides students and staff with an inviting, functional, and visually dynamic hub.
